A life full of play and adventure seeking is a rich life. As natives to the beautiful environment of San Diego County, we seek to enrich our days with inspiring, sun-filled passions and pastimes. Whether you’re here on a brief escape or seeking to become more acquainted with the area long-term, we want you to make the most of your time here. We consolidated our varied local knowledge and came up with a list of San Diego adventures that are bound to inspire your life and satisfy your desires. At MANDA, we want you to stay healthy and safe while having fun in the sun, exploring and enjoying San Diego!
North County (Coastal)
- Camp in the beautiful Cardiff San Elijo Campgrounds
Whether you’re learning to surf, taking advantage of the high quality local reefs or soaking up the sun on the beach, there’s fun for the whole family. Close out the day with a sunset meal at Bull Taco followed by s’mores around the campfire.

- Walk the coastal wetland trails
North County has multiple unique nature reserves protecting the local wetlands. Explore a variety of beautiful scenic trails and palisade views.
North County (Inland)
- San Diego Safari Park
Enjoy an action-packed day full of exotic, wild animal adventures and enriching education. As an internationally recognized not-for-profit organization, San Diego Zoo Global is fighting to end extinction around the world while inspiring people’s passion for nature.
- Explore Julian
Take a trip back in time and explore our crisp alpine environments and unique mountain cultures. Before hitting the road, close out your day with a healthy hot serving of the world famous Julian Apple Pie.
- Discover the Palm Canyon Oasis
Get away from the noise of the city and delve into a majestic oasis of palm trees, waterfalls and rock formations that make Palm Canyon one magical experience you’ll never forget.
South County (Coastal)
- Hike Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
