This is the tin we've been making since 2015 with the same principles: take ingredients you can eat, and combine them with minerals to make a hardcore sunscreen that stays on in harsh conditions and smells and feels good.
What's new in this version is the supply chain. The tallow comes from a regenerative family farm two hours south. The kaolin clay comes from the only mine of its kind west of the Mississippi. The raspberry seed oil and rosemary extract come from small Pacific Northwest producers we know by name. The beeswax comes from local hives.
We also took the opportunity to rebuild what's on the label. The result is the same dense, light tan, faintly chocolatey paste it's always been.
