Manda is a physical block. It works by sitting on your skin: a real, visible layer of non-nano zinc and earth that reflects the elements instead of disappearing into you.

Somewhere along the way, the industry decided you shouldn't be able to see anything at all. So they engineered the visibility out: milling, dispersing, and layering in lab-made esters and polymers. We're more interested in the real thing.. a layer you can see is a layer you can trust.

Five to ten ingredients. Things you can eat.

Grass-finished tallow rendered from a small ranch a couple hours south. Beeswax from a beekeeper in Central California. Zinc, clay, cocoa, raspberry seed oil. That's the paste. The lip balm is honey, cocoa butter, vanilla, and the same clean base. Food for your skin.

We don't use synthesized esters built to make minerals disappear. No lab-made dispersion polymers. No synthetic alkanes. No engineered film-formers, no bioengineered peptides, no "natural-derived" molecules that started as a plant and left the lab as something else.

Olive oil is food. The lab version of it is not. We use the food.

We don't use plastic. Not in our packaging. Not in our mailers. If we send you a sticker it's vinyl so put it somewhere special. We once used sugarcane derived plastic until we found out it was BS. Single-use plastic sucks, there's enough of it in our lives. We couldn't sleep at night making more of it.
